Lip products - sticks, balms and oils by all brands

If 2026 has a theme, it’s this: your lips are the moment. The beauty world has unleashed a tidal wave of new lipsticks, lip oils, balms, and SPF-packed treatments—and honestly, our makeup bags have never been happier. We can be happy because they aren’t all made for the 25 and under crowd anymore.

From iconic brands making a comeback to budget-friendly favorites dropping juicy new formulas, it’s officially time to pucker up, buttercup, because your lips are about to live their best life.

The Lipstick Comeback: Bold, Buttery, and Better Than Ever

MAC Cosmetics Lipsticks

MAC is back in her power era. Their newest lipstick lineup features cool‑tone nudes, berry mauves, and rich reds that glide on like silk. The formulas are smoother, creamier, and more hydrating than ever—perfect for mature lips that want pigment without the dryness.

This is a picture of the older packaging. The new one has the bullet top still, but a bigger middle silver ring with the MAC engraved. If you have MAC Lipstick to use up.

Don’t go for the new ones unless you know you will use them. Add one of the limited edition Lip Oils to wear over top.

MAC Cosmetics Lipsticks

Topping with the lip oils will add a new dimension to your lips. Along with that summer glow. My choice is the Dress to Dazzle. It could go over any lipstick and make it look like a summer dream. The lip oils are $25.00 and you are bound to use it up this season.

A lip liner from NYX for $8.00 has your color. I know this because they have pretty much any color you need and the price is right. To where the lip oil alone, my choice would be NYX Lip Liner in Fierce Flirt.

Dior Lipsticks

Dior continues to deliver that effortless Parisian glamour. Their new hydrating satin and velvet finishes feel like skincare disguised as lipstick. One swipe and you’re instantly in your “walking through the Champs‑Élysées” fantasy. Don’t act like a lipstick, lip oil or gloss can’t redivide your mood. We all know it can, even if you are over 45.

This has beautiful packaging with a “knob” on the top. I have enjoyed this Lip stick. It is $42.00 and mine was a gift. So, I can’t say that I paid for it. I am not sure if I like it better than my Lancome. Perhaps a bit better than my KIKO MILANO (that is only because the fragrance with the KIKO is not my scent). However, the price is fabulous and it is creamy and lovely.

Lancôme Lipsticks

Lancome Lip Balm or Lipstick

Lip Idôle Squalane-12 Butterglow™ Hydrating Lip Balm is what is pictured. I do like this Lip Balm, very creamy. Does add more color than you might think to your lips.

It is hydrating and creamy. Pretty for effortless to plump lips up for us over 45+.

Also would go great with the NYX Lip Liner above, if you feel you need to have a lip liner.

Luxury packaging as well. That goes along with the luxury price of $32.00

Lancôme’s latest drop is all about soft-focus color with a plush, comfortable feel. Think “your lips, but French”—polished, pillowy, and impossibly chic. Another beautiful lip product for the mature beauty lover.

They also have some beautiful Lip Oils, which also make your lips look hydrated and plump along with some other brands.

Lip Oils That Make Your Lips Look Juicy (Without the Stickiness)

MCoBeauty Lip Oils

MCoBeauty continues its viral streak with new lip oils that deliver high shine and deep hydration. They’re glossy without being sticky and look way more luxe than their price tag. I especially like their MCoBeauty Peptide Lip Treatment which is less than $10.00.

Their lip oils are fabulously hydrating, but they don’t feel as luxurious as the Beauty Pie Lip Oils and their colors don’t intrigue me as much. They have an obvious sparkle but for night time low light dinner, just fabulous. You can’t beat the $10.00 price tags so that may interest you.

NYX Lip Oils

NYX is serving shine, comfort, and fun flavors. Their new shades are perfect for everyday wear, and the lightweight formula makes them ideal for mature lips that crave moisture.

This picture may look a little like halloween fake blood pic, but it is not. It is a hydrating lip oil with great color pigment.

NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Fat Oil Lip Drip for under $10.00.

So many colors. You could get a few for that price for every look and even to try a new look. You will not be disappointed.

Nyx Professional Makeup Fat Lip Oil

Beauty Pie Lip Oils

Beauty Pie’s lip oils are silky, nourishing, and packed with skincare ingredients like hyaluronic acid and plant oils. They give that plush, healthy glow that screams “luxury.” All for $14.00

This lip oils are so beautifully formulated. I wish they would bring back the summer limited editions that were just gorgeous. They have added some but not the colors they had 2 years ago.

They also have a new Peptide Lip Butter ($16.00) that is so good. This lip butter has the silver slanted lip applicator which perfect for the summer as it is easy to apply.

Lip sticks, oils and balms - Many brands

Pictured are just some of my lip collection. YSL is amazing but not featured as it is spendy. Which makes it hard to justify.

Oils are NYX, Beauty Pie and Haus Labs (haven’t used the Haus labs enough to blog about it). Kiko Milano, Lancome, YSL and Beauty Pie are balms. Beauty Pie Balms are $14.00

All work well for mature lips.

SPF Lip Balms: Because Sunburned Lips Are Not the Look

Melaleuca SPF Lip Balm

Melaleuca is quietly winning the SPF lip game. Their lip balms are hydrating, soothing, and packed with sun protection—perfect for hikes, pool days, or bright summer sun.

Melaleuca Sun Shades Lip Balm

SPF may be everywhere

Even the big beauty houses are stepping up their SPF formulas. Balm‑treatment hybrids deliver shine, moisture, and sun protection in one swipe.

I can’t comment on too many SPF balm (chapstick style) as these seem to be the main ones that I use. They are easy to throw into your pocket. This may be the only option you choose as sun can melt lip products. That isn’t a secret. You may just want to keep on with you at all times and these are small. They work.

Final Swipe: Time to Pucker Up, Buttercup

Whether you’re a lipstick lover, a gloss girlie, a lip oil addict, or a balm‑only minimalist, the new lip launches of 2026 have something delicious waiting for you.

Treat yourself. Try something new. Toss a fresh tube into your purse or your pocket.

Because this year, your lips are the main character.
