Is InnBeauty Extreme Cream a Dupe for Augustinus Bader? Full Review for Mature Skin

If you are like me, over 40 and your skin is suddenly thirstier than a houseplant in July, you’ve probably eyed Augustinus Bader’s The Rich Cream with equal parts longing and disbelief. At over $315, it’s a commitment. A relationship. A car payment.

Enters InnBeauty Project Extreme Cream—a firming, lifting, peptide‑packed moisturizer that promises big results without the big‑ticket price.

Let’s break down how these two stack up in real‑world use, ingredients, reviews, and clinical claims.

And possibly some alternative routines that may help with your relationship to beauty products.

What Each Cream Actually Is

InnBeauty Project Extreme Cream

A refillable, anti‑aging, firming moisturizer designed to lift, smooth, and deeply hydrate. Price is around $50.00 (around $44.00 for the refill) which is not a small investment for 1.7 oz. Although, it is known as a high performance cream with actives at an accessible price. The texture feels like a rich cream that is high end luxury. It is fast absorbing and feels like a soft blanket on the skin. Has more of a balm feel on the skin than Cera-Ve, but less than Augustinus Bader Rich Cream. It targets fine lines (like most moisturizers), firmness and moisture barrier.

Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream

A luxury, science‑driven moisturizer powered by the patented TFC8® complex. What is this complex? It is the driving force behind this brand. It is in all of their product line. TFC8® (Trigger Factor Complex 8) is a proprietary blend of amino acids, vitamins, lipids, and peptides naturally found in the skin. Sources stated it is bio‑identical signaling complex that supports the skin’s natural renewal and repair processes and enhances cellular communication.

Okay, back to the cream, it is priced at $315.00. This product is designed for cellular renewal and long term skin transformation. The texture is rich and balmy which adds extra protection for drier skin types. It is not as fast absorbing as the InnBeauty cream.

Full disclosure, I haven’t purchased this product. My friend uses this cream religiously to the detriment of her budget. She has graciously given me some as a sample. I used it for about a few weeks to compare. I know that isn’t a long enough time for any life changing results, but I am not going to be purchasing several bottles for long term use. And you will see why below.

Why I think this is a fair enough trial usage

Knowing it takes weeks and in the brand data (only from Augustinus Bader as InnBeauty doesn’t have any) it will take 8-12 weeks to see improvement. I take fairly good care of my skin now and I am not tracking for long term wrinkle depth. As the research shows there will be minimal to naked eye. It is feel and behavior of the skin. I am looking for similar results in a certain time frame.

Ingredients Breakdown: What’s Inside and Why It Matters

InnBeauty Project Extreme Cream

Key ingredients peptides, ceramides, hyaluronic acid (not my favorite hyped ingredient), antioxidants. All good ingredients for visible firmness, bounce and moisture. All ideal for over 40 skin that’s losing elasticity.

Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream

According to retailer data, The Rich Cream includes TFC8®, ceramides, cholesterol, squalene, glycerin and antioxidants. Again, all great ingredients for over 40 skin not only for elasticity but skin barrier much the same as the InnBeauty. Minus the TFC8®, of course.

Clinical Claims & Independent Evidence

Can’t compare as I can’t find too much for InnBeauty. It is a Korean product so perhaps there are some clinical studies or independent evidence in Korean, which I wouldn’t be able to read unless they are translated anyway.

Real‑World Reviews: What People Actually Say

InnBeauty Project Extreme Cream

is praised for fast results, plumper, firmer skin along with great under makeup and excellent value. Critiques are not a “transformative” cream and not as balmy or inclusive as some luxury cream (could they mean Augustinus Bader?).

Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream

is praised for deep, lasting hydration, smoother texture. Along with reduced fine lines and luxurious feel. Critiques are very expensive and takes time to absorb.

So… Is InnBeauty Extreme Cream a Dupe for Augustinus Bader?

It’s a “smart dupe,” not a “tech dupe.” InnBeauty Extreme Cream does mimic the results of skin feeling firm, bounce and hydrated. However, to get more of the results as Augustinus Bader you will need to use additional ingredients . Some suggest using squalane in addition to this cream to get more of that balmy, inclusiveness.

InnBeauty Extreme Cream mimics the results of firmness, bounce, hydration. If you use other serum that contain ingredients that “talk” to your cells as well. You can come somewhat close to those results found with the luxury creams. I would say using this cream is different that using my SkinFix or CeraVe. It has more of an inclusive feel and a slight more oily feel to it. Not like jojoba oil which is more on the waxy side and it is closest to the skins’ own sebum.

Does that make sense? If you use the original Nivea back in the 80s you may know what I am talking about. That is the advantage of getting older you remember the old school versions.

Other Dupes for Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream

Per the internet not per me. Because as I stated my Skin Fix which I like for repairing my skin when I have exfoliated too much, used a product that wasn’t right for my skin. The Skin Fix will fix it. To me it wasn’t as close to Augustinus Bader as the internet would have you believe. I have only tried 3 out of the four of the list below:

Skinfix Barrier+ Triple Lipid Peptide Cream, Dr Jart+ Ceramidin Cream, Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Advanced Repair Barrier Cream and Naturium Multi‑Peptide Moisturizer.

You can also look for serums like that have multi‑peptide blends, Matrixyl and copper peptides (GHK-CU) to either add to your routine or you may already have them in it.

I am going to continue using the InnBeauty Extreme Cream, as I really like it. It keeps my skin looking hydrated and pump.
