You look so good when you are blushing, so why not do it more often? As we age we lose color in our face. We may gain more hyperpigmentation, dark circles, and bags under our eyes. Sure it is natural and it adds character to your face. However, a bright cheek and a great smile can transform your day. No, I am not being dramatic. You look in the mirror during the day and see a flush on your cheeks your skin looks brighter. Transformative to your day.

Note: People who appear more happy and cheerful are just simply more attractive. Blush seems to radiate that cheerfulness.

Start Blushing- you know you look good

We have all seen the Dior Rosy Glow blush that went viral and adds that gorgeous color and bright cheeriness to the face. It isn’t that bad of a price, it is $40.00 for .15oz. The babydoll pink color is so pretty on any skin tone. It may look mildly scary, but it is so pretty on the skin.

Also, it came out long before the Barbie Movie, so you know it wasn’t trending because of that. It is trending because the color is good for so many people. The color of Dior Rosy Glow Blush has been so universal that it skyrocketed blush back into a must-have in makeup. Which has been a good thing for people to rediscover a rosy glow in their cheeks. Everyone looks good when they are blushing.

Make me blush

I think most people like to blush, whether it is at a comment or having some extra lovely color on the face. This is why so many brands are and have come out with similar colors to the Dior Blush. Even if your blush isn’t in this color, using blush makes your face come alive. Have I said that enough?

Tarte – you make me blush

You know Tarte as one of the brands known for their blush. They have a reputation for making some of the most long-lasting smooth blush for years. They have just come out with their color Energy. Does it remind you of anything?

The shade is a bit deeper but still in the same family as the Dior Rosy Glow Blush. It doesn’t have a slight glow, which I think I like better. I have other products that have “glow. So I like to control my “glow”. I can add highlighter where I need and it is fine for me.

Don’t think that this blush looks dull or chalky, it doesn’t. I also think this one lasts longer, stays on all day and my cheeks eat blush. I don’t know where it goes, it is just gone. Not with this one or the next one. They both stay on all day and look fresh when I am taking it off at the end of the day.

Price point

This one is $30.00 for a bit less than .12oz, but that packaging is so much better. Packaging is important in a blush. Out of the cosmetics that break the most in my bag, it is blush. You need some good packaging with this stuff. The color looks great on the face, but not in your bag.

The case on this one is a beautiful swirl of pink and white with a magnetic clip. The clip isn’t as powerful as I would have liked, but it is still good.

Beauty Pie – are you blushing, yet?

I am always blushing when I wear this one, it is very similar to the other two blushes. It came out before the Tarte which just landed on the market. I am not sure what took them so long.

This one is $20.00 for .14 oz if you are a member and $35.00 if you are not. They have a free day code on their website. In a future post, I will go into why I am a Beauty Pie Member. Now, it is just about the blush, it is a beautiful blue-pink. I think this shade will go well on everyone’s skin. I was a bit frightened when I saw how pigmented it was but I just tapped off the brush or dap a bit on the back of my hand before applying it to my cheeks. A little does go. a long way, but as I said it lasts all day long.

Best feature

I will tell you what separates it from the others featured here and I think you will like it. The case has an impressive magnetic clip like the Tarte. That is very important to me as I stated. It isn’t as beautiful as the design on the Tarte. It is a sleek silver, just simple. The thing that sets it apart is the case is refillable. You can get refills for $12.00. (Rose Inc. has been doing refillable packaging which is nice as well).

If you are thinking it doesn’t take much to impress her, it does. At first, I thought this case was more chintzy than the Tarte case. The feel of it is lighter than the Tarte case by a tiny bit. The magnetic clip is more powerful on this one, however.

The blush is just as good as the Tarte in lasting power. Dior doesn’t last quite as long on me as the other two, but I think that may be the “glow” part of it.

Even if you don’t decide to get a blush in this color family. I hope you will not be afraid to blush. The vibrance of blush is important in a makeup routine at any age. Mature people may find it even more essential than eye makeup as they age. Blush Is easy doesn’t require much time and looks great on everyone.
