Powerful and vibrant local street art

Join the art walk

If you haven’t looked around your city or nearby cities to view the local street art, you should. This is a beautiful art form. It allows an artist to express their art vibrantly. It is a huge canvas for these artists to work on. The artist working on her centipede stated that she had painted the frog last year, which was still so vibrant.

She said she may be able to get done with her centipede this evening. That may be ambitious or she may be able to get it done.

This street art is in an open alleyway. Where it would be subject to all sorts of weather. Because of the shadows of the buildings around this alleyway, it does seem to be cooler than walking along the street. This street art also seems to have so many layers. Some are straightforward but still have dimensions.

Even if this isn’t your type of art. You have to admit it is a powerful piece.

This piece of street art is more of a cartoon-type medium. Reminds me of something from 90s cartoons. Does it remind anyone else of that? Like Danny Phantom. Maybe more like Dexter’s laboratory. Either way great street art, it gets you thinking.

The vibrant red of the tongue and the shading of such makes it stand out to me. What stands out to you?

I enjoy seeing the creativity of this artist. Gray-scale art has always been impressive to me in some way. The use of dots from saturated or sparse can lend to the depth of a piece. Also, the use of negative and positive is an interesting feature. The vibrant red in this piece also makes a “smokey” and mystical background. Red has always been a powerful color.

If you don’t agree that is fine. Art can be interpreted in many different ways which is why it is great for everyone to experience.
